A review of Dill & Sons Ltd by Disgruntled customer written on Monday 30th of November 2020
We had an insurance policy via Domestic and General and when our dishwasher was faulty the repair was allocated to this company. We have had 3 different engineers visit due to additional parts being required. The 2nd engineer did not replace our integrated door to the machine as he said the screws were no good and that he would ask his office to order new ones for us so that when they next visited with the correct part they could put the door back on for us. After another couple of weeks delay the company are now saying that it is not their job to either source the screws or refit the door as it isn’t covered by the insurance and that we should do it ourselves or pay a kitchen fitter to do it for us. The engineers when they have visited have told us one thing but when the office call us they say that the engineer has said something completely different and have chosen to believe their engineer over us. This saga has been ongoing since October and we have had to chase almost every step of the way as they never call back when they say they will other than this morning when they rang to say they were cancelling our job even though we have now sourced the screws ourselves and they had agreed to come back. If you have to use this company yourselves then you might be wise to check what they are actually prepared to do before you you give them the job..
